Wake Up World is the creation of Infinita, Inc, a mobile research and development company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

We love Japanese mobile phones, we love mobile services, and we love the iPhone too. So Wake Up World is a little app we made to test it all out.

What do I do with this app?
Get it, ask a friend/lover/family member to get it, and send them a wake up surprise whenever you choose.

Cool! How do I do that?

• Sign up on the web site and enter your username and password in the app. Have them do the same.
• Get your friend/lover/family member's username and secret code.
• Go the Video section, pick a video (upload one or pick one that is already there), and enter their username and secret code. The next time they wake up, it will be to you!

Do I have to know how to make a video?
It helps, but it's not that hard. You can pick a video already up on the site, or you can make a new one using even a simple Flip camera. Just make sure it is saved off as an MP4 file, and on the Videos page use the Upload box on the right side to upload the video. It will appear in your Videos section, and from then on you can send it to anyone.

What if two people want to play a video for the same person?
First come, first serve. The next time they wake up, the next video in "line" will be played.

How do I choose who can send me a video?
Whoever you give your username and secret code to, they will be able to set the video that you wake up to! So give it out carefully!

I don't want to get any more videos from my friend. What do I do?
Change your secret code to a different four digit number, and they won't be able to set your wake ups anymore!

Do I have to have internet access for this to work?
You have to be online to set the videos on the web page. Your phone has to be connected to receive the day's video. If not, you will get the default video, a cute cat waking you up!
